TATEX 22S TYPE I
TaTex 22S Type I is a 22 oz architectural membrane fabric suited for smaller-span tension fabric structures where a clean, stable surface under lighter external tension is the priority. Reliable and consistent, without overbuilding for applications where the support system carries the work.
Often used in tensile architecture, shade structures, and small-span long-term applications.
TATEX 28S TYPE II
TaTex 28S Type II is a 28 oz architectural membrane fabric for frame and arch-supported structures. Handles tension applied through cables, frames, and rigid supports while maintaining a smooth, even surface across the span.
Often used in tensile architecture, halls, frame structures, industrial fabric structures, and air-supported domes.
TATEX 28PB TYPE II
TaTex 28PB Type II is a 28 oz prebalanced tensile membrane fabric for complex curved structures, anticlastic, synclastic, and hypar forms. The pre-stressed weave manages tension in multiple directions at once, stabilizing the fabric’s shape and reducing the need for heavy steel framing.
Often used in tensile canopies, halls, frame structures, industrial fabric structures, and air-supported domes.
TATEX 31S TYPE III
TaTex 31S Type III is a 31 oz architectural membrane fabric for larger spans and heavier load demands. Built to maintain surface integrity where spans grow wider and structural forces increase.
Often used in tensile architecture, halls, frame structures, industrial fabric structures, and air-supported domes.
TATEX 37PB TYPE III+
TaTex 37PB Type III+ is a 37 oz prebalanced tensile membrane fabric for large-span and high-load applications. Distributes structural forces across the fabric at a higher capacity than the 28PB, allowing bigger, more complex forms without a proportionally larger support structure.
Often used in tensile architecture, halls, stadiums, frame structures, industrial fabric structures, and air-supported domes.
TATEX 40PB TYPE IV
TaTex 40PB Type IV is a 40 oz prebalanced tensile membrane fabric for the most demanding large-span applications. The heaviest and strongest fabric in the TATex range, built for structures where the membrane carries sustained tension from multiple directions.
Often used in tensile architecture, halls, stadiums, frame structures, large-span roofs, and industrial fabric enclosures.
